WHAT IS PERSONAL TRAINING

A Personal Trainer at JD FITNESS is a highly qualified individual who's aims are to encourage, educate and inspire a healthy lifestyle. This is achieved through regular fitness testing, fitness sessions, nutritional advice and positive feedback. A Personal Trainer can also help clients achieve improved body composition, increased fitness levels, weight loss and overall health improvements.

Your initial session will involve your Personal Trainer assessing your goals and current fitness levels, this is to allow your trainer to tailor an individual training programme. During this initial session you will receive a full body analysis which consists of:

• Body Fat Percentage

• BMI (Body Mass Index)

• Lean Muscle Mass

• Body Weight

• Body Measurements

• PAR Q (physical activity readiness questionnaire)

Your results will be recorded and reviewed on a regular basis to ensure you are on the right track to achieving your goals. The sessions that follow will be tailored to your individual needs.

Whether its weight loss, weight gain, to get fitter, improve lifestyle, train for an event or just as a reason to get moving regularly, then our personal trainers can help you achieve these goals. We have been working with clients for over 15 years and we have exceptional experience when it comes to working with all different goals and clients needs, with the most popular being weight loss.

Loosing weight and keeping it off might well be the hardest thing you have ever attempted. When you take out personal training with JD FITNESS your trainer will educate you with ways to change your eating habits not only for weight loss but for permanent lifestyle change. Your trainer will advise you hew to complete a food diary, then you and your trainer will discuss changes and improvements to aid maximum weight loss.

Your JD FITNESS personal trainer will advise safe weight loss targets throughout your sessions, ideally throughout a ten week personal training block your trainer would expect 1-2pound weight loss per week, a 2%-5% reduction in body fat and a 2-6cm waist reduction, which is a great overall outcome.
